How We Work
Stratafort is a relationship-based consulting firm, not an on-call IT help desk. We operate Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM. We do not provide emergency break/fix services.
Our process starts with a free 30-minute discovery call to explore your needs and determine if we're a good fit. If you decide to move forward, we’ll complete an intake process and set you up with a secure member login. From there, you’ll gain access to your client portal where you can book service appointments.
We do not offer one-off service calls to the general public. All service appointments must be booked through the client portal after onboarding.
IT Support Services
Tier 1: Core IT Support – $50/hr
Standard remote or onsite technical support for everyday needs
Includes:
Software installs & updates
Email configuration & troubleshooting
Printer, scanner, and peripheral setup
Device setup (laptops, desktops, phones)
Basic network configuration (routers, Wi-Fi)
Tier 2: Advanced Support & Networking – $100/hr
For more complex systems or business-critical infrastructure
Includes:
Server setup & support
Network architecture (LAN/WAN/VPN) **excludes in-wall cabling**
Business continuity & backup systems
Data migration and recovery
Multi-user management (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
Tier 3: Cybersecurity & Compliance – $150/hr
Specialized security strategy, audits, and risk management
Includes:
Security risk assessments & audits
Compliance guidance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.)
Firewall configuration & endpoint protection
Secure remote access (VPN, 2FA)
Policy creation & staff security training
Incident response planning
All support tiers require a minimum charge of 1 hour (remote) or 2 hour (on-site).

A: Stratafort provides support by appointment only, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time.
Please plan ahead for time-sensitive support needs. Same-day availability is not guaranteed.
Emergency or weekend support is not available, and Stratafort observes all federal holidays.
Training sessions may be offered during evening hours on a case-by-case basis. Custom-quoted projects may include alternate working hours as specified in the project contract.

A: Yes! Most services can be completed remotely, and remote sessions are often faster and more efficient. We’ll always offer that option first when appropriate.

A: Onsite visits are included in our base rate for locations inside the City of Tucson.
Onsite visits outside this area will be subject to an additional $25 travel fee. We will inform you up front if this is the case.

A: Yes—retainer hours can be used for any Tier 1 or Tier 2 service. Tier 3 services (cybersecurity & compliance) are billed separately at a higher rate due to their complexity.

A: Your unused hours roll over for up to 60 days. After that, they expire. We’ll keep you updated on your balance so nothing goes to waste.

A: We provide monthly usage summaries and can send updates anytime upon request. You’ll always know where you stand.

A: We require a signed client agreement to document your acknowledgement of our policies. However, all support retainers are flexible and billed month-to-month. You can change or cancel with 14 days written (email) notice before your next billing cycle.
Custom-quoted projects may require a contractual agreement.

A: Extra hours are billed at your plan’s regular hourly rate, and we’ll always notify you before any overage is incurred.
